Business Development Representative (BDR)

The Role

We’re hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to help manage and qualify inbound opportunities while supporting prospects through the early and middle stages of the sales pipeline.

This role is critical to Goji Labs’ growth. You will be responsible for managing lead flow, communicating directly with prospective clients, running discovery conversations, coordinating meetings, developing proposals, and ensuring opportunities move efficiently through the pipeline.

The ideal candidate has experience in software development, technology, or digital services sales and is comfortable speaking with founders, enterprise stakeholders, and product teams. This is a highly organized, client-facing role that requires strong communication skills, ownership, and attention to detail.

This is not a high-volume cold-calling role. We are looking for someone thoughtful, proactive, and capable of building trust with prospective clients while helping qualify opportunities effectively.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage inbound lead flow and ensure timely follow-up with prospective clients

  • Coordinate and confirm meetings, discovery calls, and deep-dive sessions

  • Lead introductory qualification calls and support deeper discovery conversations

  • Draft proposals and help shepherd opportunities through the sales pipeline

  • Maintain accurate and organized customer information within HubSpot

  • Communicate with leads through email, phone, and video meetings in a professional and consultative manner

  • Partner closely with the CEO on pipeline management, opportunity qualification, and proposal strategy

  • Collaborate with marketing to help identify high-fit opportunities aligned with Goji Labs’ service offerings and ideal client profiles

  • Support lead nurturing and follow-up efforts to keep opportunities engaged over longer sales cycles

  • Assist with outreach and relationship-building efforts surrounding industry events and conferences

  • Contribute ideas for improving sales processes, qualification frameworks, and nurture campaigns


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in technology, software development, digital agency, or B2B services sales

  • Experience managing client communication across calls, email, and CRM systems

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with high attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Experience with HubSpot CRM or similar sales platforms

  • Comfortable running discovery conversations and discussing business and technical requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and conversations simultaneously

  • Self-starter with strong ownership mentality and follow-through

  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving remote environment


Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience attending industry events or conferences for networking and lead generation

  • Experience building or supporting lead nurture campaigns

  • Familiarity with software development, UX, or product strategy processes

  • Multilingual communication skills
